Adastra 6.5" 2 Way 100V Ceiling Speaker

Ceiling speaker designed for audio installations in commercial and public spaces.

Adastra: A brand that specialises in audio equipment and solutions for commercial installations, including background music, paging systems, and more.

6.5": This refers to the size of the speaker's driver (the part of the speaker that produces sound). In this case, the speaker has a 6.5-inch diameter driver.

2 Way A :2-way speaker design typically means that the speaker has two separate drivers: one for reproducing low and mid-range frequencies (woofer) and another for reproducing high frequencies (tweeter). This division of labour generally leads to better audio quality and clarity across the frequency spectrum.

100V Ceiling Speaker: The "100V" refers to a type of audio distribution system commonly used in commercial installations. 100V systems allow for easy distribution of audio signals over long distances without significant loss of audio quality. Ceiling speakers are designed to be installed in the ceiling, often providing a discreet and unobtrusive way to distribute audio throughout a space.

These types of speakers are commonly used in environments like retail stores, restaurants, offices, and other public areas where background music, announcements, or paging systems are needed. The 100V system allows for flexibility in terms of connecting multiple speakers in a daisy-chain fashion, often with the ability to adjust individual speaker volume levels.
