Vigitron NetMux™ Vi00103 is a video balun from Vigitron, a company that specialises in the transmission of video signals over twisted pair cabling.
A video balun is a device that converts a video signal from coaxial cable to twisted pair cabling, allowing video signals to be transmitted over longer distances and with less interference.
The Vi00103 video balun is designed to work with network CCTV cameras and supports transmission distances of up to 1,000 feet (305 meters) over Category 5 or 6 twisted pair cabling. It also includes surge protection to guard against voltage spikes and transients.
The Vi00103 port multiplexer enables connecting two IP/POE devices using a single Cat5/6 cable.
It features a port Combiner and a port Splitter. Combining two IP/PoE signal and transmitting them through only one Cat5/6 cable. With two built-in 10 inch Cat 5 pigtail cables to connect to the PoE switch. The Vi00103TX separates the combined signals and connects them to two ports of the PoE switch.
