Labgear HDX70M2 HDMI Extender allows high-definition HDMI signals to be transmitted over long distances using standard Cat 6 or Cat 5e Ethernet cables. Supporting resolutions up to 1080p at zero delay, this extender delivers uncompressed video and high-quality audio for professional and home applications.
Equipped with an HDMI loop output, the HDX70M2 can be cascaded to additional extenders, allowing flexible installation in large setups. The device supports EDID copy (local or remote) and transmits audio formats including PCM7.1, Dolby True HD, and DTS HD, ensuring rich audiovisual performance.
Designed for versatility, it’s ideal for multimedia conference rooms, classrooms, digital signage, and large-screen displays. It supports HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.4, and DVI 1.0 standards and can transmit video up to 4K2K@30Hz YUV 4:4:4. HDMI extender over Cat 6 is a device that allows you to transmit HDMI signals over long distances using Cat 6 Ethernet cables.
Here's how it works:
HDMI signal is inputted into the transmitter unit of the extender.
The transmitter unit converts the HDMI signal into a form that can be transmitted over Ethernet cables.
The Ethernet cables are then used to transmit the signal from the transmitter unit to the receiver unit of the extender.
The receiver unit converts the Ethernet signal back into an HDMI signal and outputs it to the display device.
