Triax CAT6 Euro Module

Triax CAT6 Euro Module is an electronic component used in network cabling systems to provide a modular solution for connecting and terminating CAT6 Ethernet cables. The module is designed to fit into a standard Euro-style faceplate, which can then be installed in a wall or desk-mounted outlet.

The CAT6 Euro Module is similar in design to the Cat 5E Euro Module, but it is specifically designed to support higher data transfer rates and better performance over longer distances. The module typically consists of a plastic housing that contains a jack for terminating a CAT6 Ethernet cable. The housing has two IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) blocks inside it that enable quick and easy connection of the wires in the cable.

The module is designed to be used with a patch cord to connect it to a switch, router, or other network device, allowing data to be transmitted over the network. CAT6 Euro Modules are commonly used in commercial and industrial applications, such as in offices, data centres, and network server rooms, where higher data transfer rates are required.

The CAT6 standard provides a maximum data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps at a distance of up to 55 meters. The Euro Module format allows for the creation of custom network outlet configurations with other modules such as phone jacks or USB ports, in a single multi-module faceplate, providing a flexible and modular approach to network connectivity.
